Arcadia Local School is closed until further notice. All offices are closed and no one will be allowed in to the building.

Third graders in Mrs. Pessell's class have been enjoying the company of Gus and his handler, Judy. He comes from Pawsible Angels and visits once a week to read and do activities with the students.

Arcadia Local Schools will be posting grade cards to Progressbook

For the safety of all, Arcadia Local Schools will be posting grade cards to Progressbook. Therefore each parent will need a Progressbook Parent Access Account to view the grade card. If information is need to create a Parent Access Account or log in to a current Parent Access Account, please click the link below and complete the form. Mr. Mckee will email the necessary information. A separate form will need to be completed for each student. The parent access link is located under parent/student resources and at the bottom of the right hand column on the home page of the school website. A pdf and/or screen shots showing steps to creating the parent account is available on the parent/student resource page.

Updated Drop-Off and Pick-Up Schedule Starting, Monday, April 6th !!!

  • Arcadia Schools will resume drop-off and pick-up of assignments for those teachers and students who are not engaged via online instruction.
  • Elementary packets will be available for pick-up and drop-off every Monday and Tuesday in the lobby of the elementary new addition drop-off doors.
  • High/Middle School packets will be available at the front main entrance on Monday and Tuesdays.
  • These limited times and areas will allows the district to disinfect a specific controlled area and parents can view the area before entering to better maintain  appropriate distances and contact.
  • Grade cards will be available to parents at the end of this week using Progressbook Parent Access Accounts. Please scroll down for directions to obtain information to create a Parent Access Account or request username and password for a current Parent Access Account. 
  • All teachers and principals are available by email to help resolve any challenges you encounter.
  • Be safe, supportive and positive and we will overcome this current challenge together.

To all open enrolled students:  Open Enrollment forms are available in the office.  Forms will not be accepted until Monday, March 2nd.  You must turn in a new form each year.

KATHY'S KORNER ~ HONOR ROLL CERTIFICATES

Honor Roll certificates to Kathy's Korner issued this school year will have the students name with an expiration date listed.  Certificates are non-transferrable - Only the student who is issued the reward may redeem them.  ALL certificates from prior years will expire January 1, 2020.

All gym doors on the east side closest to the parking lot are emergency exits only.  They are alarmed.  DO NOT open them.

REQUIRED NOTES FOR ABSENCES

Reminder regarding attendance:  STUDENTS MUST RETURN to school with a parent note for illnesses or a medical excuse for appointments upon returning to school!!  If a note is not turned into the office upon return, the absence will be UNEXCUSED.  This could impact students having to take ALL exams.  It is the students’ responsibility to return with required notes.

   Progress Book accounts are disabled if fees have not been paid. However, you have the option of a payment plan. Payment arrangements will allow you to receive grade cards and access to ProgressBook.
