The College Credit Plus meeting scheduled for January 23rd at Carey High School has been rescheduled for February 6th at 6:30 PM at Carey High School.  If you have a student in grades 7-11 interested, please consider attending.
 
The 8th grade will be administered a reading or math assessment by the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) on February 12th.  Arcadia Middle School was one of several schools chosen by the Ohio Department of Education to be assessed. 
 
On March 12th, all juniors will be taking the ACT at the community building in the Arcadia Park.  This required by Ohio Department of Education and is free to all juniors.  More information will be sent home as the date approaches.
 
Representatives from Hancock Youthleadership will be at Arcadia on February 22nd to meet with current sophomores regarding the opportunites offered by Hancock Youth Leadership (HYL).  Applications are available in guidance office.
 
 If you have a junior interested in Buckeye Boys' or Girls' State, please see me by January 28th.
