Mr. Breitigam is a 1986 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Music Education (B.M.E.) degree. Additionally, he earned a Master in the Art of Teaching (M.A.T.) degree from Marygrove College. While at Ohio State, he participated in Men's Glee Club and The Ohio State University Marching Band. He had the opportunity to participate in the Holiday, Fiesta, Rose, Citrus and Cotton Bowls while in marching band. After graduation, he had a full time sub position at Zanesville High School, and then taught at Crooksville Exempted Village Schools for his first three years. In the fall of 1990, he was hired as the band director here at Arcadia and has enjoyed his tenure teaching bands, choirs, general music and music theory. Mr. Breitigam is currently teaching bands 5-12, 4th & 6th grade general music, and team teaching JH and HS choir with Mrs. Moore. He takes great pride in the outstanding musical accomplishments of his students. PRIDE, POWER, SPIRIT....our band has what it takes!

CONGRATULATIONS to our Junior High band students who were selected to perform with the District III Festival Band. Representing Arcadia will be Johnna Snow (flute), Jordan Marczak (alto sax), Laci Vogel (alto sax) and John Hill (trombone). They will be playing a concert on Saturday, March 5th at Wapakoneta HS.
